In the graceful movements of Qi-Gong,

we synchronize breath and energy, awakening our inner strength. Through this union, of the mind, body, and soul we discover harmony, guiding us towards profound peace.

Qigong is a Chinese system of holistic health that roots back five thousand years.

“Energy cultivation” is an excellent translation for Qigong, because it conveys the idea that, just as an agricultural field is cultivated with careful tending over time to produce food, your own field of life energy is cultivated so that your body and mind are nourished.

 Sound Healing

Sound healing, singing bowl body massage, meditations, and sound baths are gaining more and more exposure and growing in popularity these days. As people experience the healing vibrations of sound they are exposed to frequencies that initiate healing and deep responses in the body.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are "bathed" in sound waves. These sound waves are typically produced by various instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, flutes, drums and many other different instruments, including the voice.

It is now well known that humming, singing, tapping etc can have a profoundly relaxing affect on the nervous system, something the Ancients peoples and Eastern cultures have known for thousands of years.

In China, healing sounds are used alongside allopathic ‘conventional’ cancer treatment.

The purpose of a sound bath is to create a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body.

Participants are invited to get comfortable, preferably by lying down on yoga mats, but you can sit in a comfortable position, while the facilitator plays the instruments, guiding them through a journey of sound. The experience is said to promote relaxation, reduce stress, enhance meditation, and improve overall well-being.

Sound healing works by using specific frequencies and vibrations to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. When combined with practices like Qigong, sound healing can be particularly effective due to the way it complements and enhances the energy work that Qigong practitioners engage in.

As well as combining sound healing and work within my Qigong classes and workshops, I also offer sound baths and sound bowl massage as separate events, as well as 1 to 1 sessions in the cabin.

If you’re looking for a truly magical experience, where you’re welcomed with the warmest smile and a heartfelt hug before your treatment even begins, then Sam at Aurora Star the Green Witch is your go-to! 🌟🧙‍♀️

I’ve been seeing Sam for about 18 months now, and she’s introduced me to incredible holistic techniques and treatments that have helped me manage my anxiety and reconnect with the energy and vibrations of the earth. Over this time, I’ve tried a variety of treatments, but today’s Sound Bowl Massage was absolutely phenomenal.

The vibrations and sounds from the singing bowls rippled through my entire body—from where the bowl was placed to the very tips of my fingers and toes. I usually have a busy mind, constantly jumping from one thought to the next, but during this treatment, the sound of the bowls kept drawing me back into the present moment. When the bowls were placed on my back and chest, I could feel the weight and vibrations anchoring me in pure contentment, even leading me into a dreamlike state at times.

Sound and vibration are deeply ingrained in us from the very beginning—think about the vibrations and sounds we experienced in the womb, like our mother’s voice or the heartbeat of the world waiting for us. But as life happens, we often lose touch with this connection. If you’re looking for a gentle, non-invasive way to reconnect, I can’t recommend this treatment enough. It’s an experience that goes beyond relaxation—it’s transformative.

Highly recommended! ✨ Ailie
